And nothing says “new year, new me” like a body reboot. Enter Biohack Lab. From hangover helpers to energy resetting machines, this ultimate recovery spot is dripping with good feels.

Partying hard into 2026 could be too much for the body and could turn you into a zombie.

At the Biohack Lab, their purpose is to make you feel alive again, down to the cellular level. Oh, that sounds pretty smart.

Raina Cassis: “We’re a wellness center. We focus on the mind, body and spirit. We have over 25 different modalities that cater to making you the best version of yourself. You have zombie cells in your body. In science, they’re known as senescent cells, these are cells that are not working and functioning at their best levels.”

And going through their “Post New Year’s Eve: Revive and Reset’ gets rid of these lazy little guys.

Raina Cassis: “The first thing that’s done is definitely a cryo to help boost your body and your cells and wake you up. Think of your cells as little battery packs and we’re recharging them, and when your cells have more energy, that’s good for blood flow, circulation and inflammation, which we see a lot after drinking.”

Spencer O’Neal: “I like the cryo chamber, there’s just kind of an immediate endorphin pump after that and you just have so much energy, like, I leave that and I wanna go back and party again but maybe I’ll take it easy for a couple of days.”

Then, it’s off for some heat.

Raina Cassis: “Definitely an infrared sauna session to sweat out whatever toxins you ingested during that time.”

After, go inside this white ball.

Raina Cassis: “Hyperbaric oxygen therapy here, is that you go into a chamber, we put your body in a pressurized state, almost as if you’re in a submarine diving down under water. When your body is in that pressurized state, the molecule of oxygen becomes small enough to travel wherever it needs to go to.”

And some much needed drip tops the holistic experience.

Raina Cassis: “Ending off with an IV of your choice. And you also have molecular hydrogen, which is an incredible tool. It gives you more clarity and more energy to be able to take on the rest of the weekend if you have to.”

Nicholas Wingord: “I partied pretty hard with my best friend and that added to feeling even more tired and I feel like being here has been great. I already feel rejuvenated.”

The Biohack Lab has locations in Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines and Coral Gables, with more coming soon.

Reggae icons join forces to support Jamaica’s rebuilding efforts with fundraising concert at Hard Rock Live https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/reggae-icons-join-forces-to-support-jamaicas-rebuilding-efforts-with-fundraising-concert-at-hard-rock-live/ Wed, 31 Dec 2025 02:38:42 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1655660 Music with a mission is taking center stage at Hard Rock Live this Friday.

The benefit concert, “Stay Strong Jamaica,” is proving to be the best way to start 2026.

With feel-good vibes from reggae icons like Shaggy, Inner Circle, Julian Marley and many more, the event is about bringing hope and support for the island through dancehall.

The musical artists are joining together to send a message for those still thinking about buying a ticket.

Rohan Marley: “Hesitant to help people?”

Julian Marley: “Yeah, you can’t be hesitant to help people.”

Rohan Marley: “If someone comes knocking and you can help, whether it’s through buying a ticket or making a phone call to your friend to buy a ticket.”

Roger Lewis: “It’s gonna take at least minimum a year-and-a-half, maybe two years for those 50,000 to 60,000 impacted people.”

Ian Lewis: “Just to be stabilized, not to recover fully.”

Shaggy: “Make sure you guys are there. I will be there, we’re gonna turn up. You dig? Biggup. For a good cause.”

100% of the proceeds from the concert go to rebuilding Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa devastated the area.

Ring in the New Year by sipping bubbly and enjoying soup at the Haitian Soup & Champagne party at NoMi Village https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/ring-in-the-new-year-by-sipping-bubbly-and-enjoying-soup-at-the-haitian-soup-champagne-party-at-nomi-village/ Sat, 27 Dec 2025 00:53:38 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1654806 There’s nothing that says tradition like Soup & Champagne. This annual Haitian party is slurping its way to NoMi Village for the first time, and promises to be the flavorful celebration to kick off the new year.

Sipping bubbles between spoonfuls is best done around friends.

The Haitian tradition of Soup & Champagne has been circling around North Miami for years.

Haitian Pooh Bear: “We became the first black, free country. So the way the slaves celebrated was with the soup, which is a pumpkin soup. Everybody came together and we tasted the soup and we tasted the freedom. This has become a tradition. We had everybody here, from Jamie Foxx to the ‘Housewives of Atlanta.'”

But for the first time, NoMi Village is setting the vibe on Jan. 1.

Jones Pierre: “The city wants to give shine to restaurants that are in the city. So we’re actually going to have four different restaurants from the city cooking a different type of soup.”

Jones Pierre: “Once you walk in, you’re gonna be given soup and champagne for two hours, it’s unlimited. Then after that, it turns into a party, a celebration. There’ll be performers, there’ll be fancy looking Haitian people, beautiful.”

Icons will be gracing the stage.

Haitian Pooh Bear: “We have Alan Cave, we have Rutshelle Guillaume.”

Haitian Pooh Bear: “This is a very, very anticipated duo. We have a lot of surprises, of course, we don’t want to reveal everything here. But we do have a couple of international artists also will be pulling up.”

This all white bubbly party is worth raising a spoon and glass to.

Jones Pierre: “This is our seventh year we’re doing it in Miami. We’re gonna have our VIP sections, we’re gonna have our party zone. They’re gonna be able to take the fancy backdrops pictures.”

Haitian Pooh Bear: “Start the year the right way, on a positive note and try to make 2026 the best year that we can.”

Tickets to this unique celebration start at $100.

These SoFlo salons are bringing the brightest looks to celebrate the merry season https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/these-soflo-salons-are-bringing-the-brightest-looks-to-celebrate-the-merry-season/ Thu, 25 Dec 2025 01:23:30 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1654369 Holiday glam needs to be spotlight bright rather than silent night. Don’t stress, two South Florida salons are breaking down the trends this merry season. From shimmer to snatched looks, consider this the official glow-up cheat sheet.

George Macready as Ballin Mundson in “Gilda”: “Gilda, are you decent?”

Rita Hayworth as Gilda in “Gilda”: “Me?”

Ah, that infamous hair flip by Rita Hayworth. Hollywood glam will never be the same.

And celebs like Christina Aguilera and Sydney Sweeney are keeping that look going, especially during the holidays.

At LAHH Salon in Bay Harbor Islands, it’s about to get glamourous.

Arianna Palacios: “LAHH Salon stands for life is about healthy hair. And we are known for exactly that.”

Arianna Palacios: “Today, we’re specifically doing a traditional Hollywood wave style and we’re also doing a traditional updo. So these are some things that we’ve seen circling back, trending again and again. It’s a statement look while also being quite timeless.”

And for makeup…

Arianna Palacios: “We’re following along with some fashion week trends, we’re doing a metallic holiday look. It can draw attention to somebody’s eyes or their cheekbones.”

Customer: “I like the shimmery in the makeup that it still keeps the natural tones, down to earth so it’s not, like, too colorful.”

There’s no place like hair at House of Mane in Wynwood.

Sarah Caiceo: “We are a departmentalized salon. We do color, cut, specialize in extensions, keratin, straightening treatments, anything, you name it, we do everything that’s hair.”

And just like Kim Kardashian, everything is better with a bow.

Sarah Caiceo: “The trends we’re seeing is very effortless but also, kind of, that elegant, old money sort of feel. So we really wanted to hone in on that polished, pretty look. So a lot of slick backs, half up, very soft waves with a little added feminine bow.”

And these powerhouse looks give an added bonus.

Sarah Caiceo: “You can actually use the temples of your hair to give you a mini facelift. It’s a very easy style if you have kids or family coming over and you didn’t have time to wash your hair, it’s just a really style to throw together.”

Davie business brings calm to locals through holistic inner healing https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/davie-business-brings-calm-to-locals-through-holistic-inner-healing/ Wed, 24 Dec 2025 03:05:20 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1654131 New year, new inner peace! Because if 2025 was chaotic, might as well start 2026 on the calmer side. One local gem is helping you unwind and reset.

So stretch, breathe, and ommm…

The sound of traffic equals anxiety galore.

At “Living Sculpture Sanctuary” in Davie, being surrounded by nature’s music is like a reboot of the inner self, especially for 2026.

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: “Similar to what happens to your computer sometimes that it glitches or whatever you have to restart and unplug it.”

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: “The sound plus vibration plus being in that immersive experience it helps to reset.”

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: “We have all different elements here. We have water, we have fire. The moment that you come into the sanctuary you begin feeling a sense of peace.”

By expanding this peaceful oasis, it’s become a happy and meaningful place for everyone.

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: “So for the second phase ibuku, everything, every single space is not only aesthetically beautiful but it is so meaningful at the same time. In the case of the ibuku circle, which is a semi circle and you’re gonna find seven windows. They’re going to be representing the seven chakras, which are centers of energy.”

From yoga to bonsai classes, they’re tapping into Zen vibrations, including sound bath sessions. Because after all, humans are made out of mostly water.

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: Water gets affected by sound very easily and the same with our cells and our organs. We have these quartz bowls, they are 22 different frequencies and also they are key to different chakras.

Soon in 2026, the thumping sounds of drums will center the space.

Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez: “We are so excited. I cannot wait, from like musical classes. For example drumming. Taiko drumming with Japanese drums that are so healing especially for the heart chakra that is the first sound when you were born.”

Ben Miller: “There’s a lot of reasons to love this place. It’s very very special and it’s growing and growing on me. There’s a close parallel between music and rhythm and health and nature and all of these combine in a lot of different ways.”

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson channel Neil Diamond in musical biopic, ‘Song Sung Blue’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/hugh-jackman-and-kate-hudson-channel-neil-diamond-in-musical-biopic-song-sung-blue/ Tue, 23 Dec 2025 01:23:20 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1653741 Get ready to fall in love with Lightning and Thunder in “Song Sung Blue.” With Hugh Jackman flexing those Broadway pipes and Kate Hudson striking those power chords, they’re a match made in musical heaven. Throw in Neil Diamond as a third wheel and it’s the perfect love story.

Go ahead and sing along.

Neil Diamond’s classic tunes are getting revived in the movie, ‘Song Sung Blue.”

In the biopic, Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson play Lightning and Thunder — a real-life Neil Diamond tribute duo. And Neil’s a fan.

Kate Hudson: “So wonderful. He’s so, he loves the movie. He said to me that, you know, every once in a while, something comes along and gives his music new life.”

And this film does just that with both stars loving their characters.

Kate Hudson: “With Claire, it would be her resilience, you know, and, I think it’s a theme throughout the whole film for everybody, for every character, but, it’s, like, grit. The grit and resilience.”

Hugh Jackman: “I got my first job when I was 26 so I had a lot of jobs and I was in a lot of amateur productions.”

Hugh Jackman: “When I graduated from drama school, I started a theater company, which, I assumed, would be for nine people and it’s still going. My life went in a direction that I never thought possible and it’s been incredible, but, I, like Mike, I’d still be doing it. Even if I had another job, I would still be doing it somehow.”

With the flick dropping on Christmas, it’s all about love and giving, especially for the icon.

Hugh Jackman: “He loves the story of them and always has. I think it speaks to his generosity and his real belief that for every Neil Diamond, there are thousands of really great musicians that don’t quite make it, but still love it and that’s awesome.”

Jack Black and Paul Rudd slither on screen for a comedy reboot of 1997 horror classic, ‘Anaconda’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/jack-black-and-paul-rudd-slither-on-screen-for-a-comedy-reboot-of-1997-horror-classic-anaconda/ Thu, 18 Dec 2025 03:18:07 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1652093 Hold onto your popcorn, “Anaconda” is slithering its way back on the big screen this Christmas. But this time, it’s a comedy reboot with funny guys Jack Black and Paul Rudd. In this “Anaconda,” the stars go from making a horror movie to experiencing one.

Thandiwe Newton: “My anaconda don’t. Yeah, of course, I mean, come on. It’s the trailer, Jesus Christ. You do it.”

Steve Zahn: “I’m not doing it because I’ll have to pay money.”

Thandiwe Newton: “Will you? What?”

Steve Zahn: “I’m kidding.”

Thandiwe Newton: “Silly boy.”

Being silly is just an everyday thing for Thandiwe Newton and Steve Zahn on the re-imagined version of “Anaconda.”

Especially co-starring with Jack Black and Paul Rudd, who play childhood friends trying to make an indie version of the 1997 classic.

It’s all fun and games until a giant snake hunts them down. But keeping it professional on set is key.

Jack Black: “We only did a few takes of that as well because I was running top speed down a dirt, uneven terrain. And I don’t think they wanted to risk old man Jables’ ankle snappage.”

Paul Rudd: “All day covered in goop and gross, it was disgusting. And he has a boar on his back.”

Paul Rudd: “We were in Australia, it was summer. I don’t understand the Celsius-Fahrenheit thing yet, I don’t plan on getting it. But I think it equaled out to about 130 degrees Fahrenheit, and it was so uncomfortable, and this guy never complained once.”

No real snakes were used in the flick, but watching videos of some is enough.

Jack Black: “From the Amazon, where you do see some snake attacks. Dude, there’s some scary mo-fo videos.”

Paul Rudd: “Also, it’s always gross when you see a snake and it’s like, ‘Oh, my god, he just ate a cow. You can see the shape of it in his gullet.'”

Jack Black: “Oh, yeah.”

Making this adventure flick also includes music on the scene.

Steve Zahn: “There was a constant song.”

Thandiwe Newton: “There was a song all the time.”

Steve Zahn: “There’s always a song.”

Steve Zahn: “It was a great set.”

Thandiwe Newton: “Such a beautiful atmosphere.”

Steve Zahn: “It was a fun, every day was fun.”

Thandiwe Newton: “So fun. And I think the audience gets to share in the fun, frankly.”

Thandiwe Newton: “Say hi to Miami for us.”

Steve Zahn: “Not me though.”

Thandiwe Newton: “No.”

A couple of SoFlo spots are serving holiday cheer with festive cocktails and chilled treats https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/a-couple-of-soflo-spots-are-serving-holiday-cheer-with-festive-cocktails-and-chilled-treats/ Thu, 18 Dec 2025 01:10:53 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1652094 If you could eat holiday cheer — it would be served with extra sprinkles and a side of miracles. From festive cocktails to nitrogen-chilled treats, we’ve got a couple of spots for you to check out. Deco’s serving up some sleigh-worthy sips and a seriously cool Grinch.

Raise a glass to good times and Christmas vibes! Because “The Dead Flamingo” is making spirits bright in Little Havana.

Alexis Marie Tollinchi: “We have brought back our famous miracle on Calle Ocho. It’s basically like a holiday party in your family’s living room, but a little bit more fun.”

This place is totally decked out with festive decor, but it’s what’s happening at the bar that’ll really have you feeling holly jolly!

Alexis Marie Tollinchi: “There’s about 20 holiday cocktails on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. They all come in decorated little mugs.”

Looking to get wild? You can’t go wrong with the Tequila-based “Koala La-La-La”

Alexis Marie Tollinchi: “It has a little bit of vermouth, a little bit of tamarind. Very sweet, very refreshing.”

…Or the “Miracle Mouse.”

Alexis Marie Tollinchi: “It’s a bourbon-based cocktail. It has vanilla and grapefruit. It is fruity but not intensely so.”

Wanna feel warm and fuzzy? Grab the “Coconut Hot Chocolate.” It’s got Jamaican rum, whipped cream, and comes in a Santa mug, and for those feeling extra adventurous…

Alexis Marie Tollinchi: “The ‘Yippie Ki Yay’ is probably one of our most famous cocktails. It has an intense blend of rums and a little bit of Ube. This is the perfect cocktail for those who know that Die Hard is a Christmas movie.”

Spiked Rich Nitrogen Ice Cream is decking out its menu with some frosty treats in time for the holidays.

Jesse Saunders, owner: “We make all of our ice creams from scratch using liquid nitrogen. We handcraft all of our creations. We use only premium ingredients here, and we’re known for crazy wild concoctions and recipes. Christmas time is always our favorite time of year. We always have new and special flavors for a limited time, such as ‘Gingerbread Crisp’ and ‘Peppermint Chip’. Fun and crazy creations, and very Instagrammable and really tasty.”

And of course, being naughty is OK.

Jesse Saunders, owner: “You can add alcohol to anything. We have a specialty alcohol menu as well. Our Grinch is a really popular item right now, which is our mint chip with Irish cream. You can get it virgin if you like as well. You can get regular cups, or you can upgrade and get our souvenir jars like our light bulbs and our teddy bear shakes as well.”

Portions are plenty to spread holiday cheer.

Jesse Saunders, owner: “You can bring your loved one, or you can bring a school bus of people to help you finish them. But we do have them in different sizes.”

Miracle on Calle Ocho is happening now through December 27th. As for Spiked Rich, they have specials going all the time. Just check out their Insta at spikedrich.

From fine dining to a scratch kitchen, these foodie havens are feeding customers with next level talent. They’re celebrating art and providing great service down to the bone.

Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green in “Friends”: Decaf, cappuccino for Joey. Latte. And an ice tea. I’m getting pretty good at this.”

Like in the show “Friends,” great service is hard to find.

At the heart of Brickell, Claudie is summoning France’s attention to detail with dishes to share.

Michael de Carvalho: “Everybody in the south of France likes to eat, likes to share a meal. You want to order lots of dishes to have the choice to eat anything you’d like, whether it’s meat or fish.”

Their grilled whole fish is served to make sure you only eat the good stuff.

Michael de Carvalho: “We debone it tableside. We want to represent the service in the south of France, that’s why we do a lot of tableside. We also have some delicious pastas with caviar. And the famous snails that everyone loves or hates in France.”

Drinks here are very artsy.

Michael de Carvalho: “Each cocktail is linked to an artist. For example, we have the Eau de Coco, which is inspired by the Saint-Tropez City and also Coco Chanel.”

Guest: “The vibe is amazing. The service is amazing. Claudie is one of my favorite spots in Miami.”

Antonino’s in Hollywood is a 65-year-old spot and keeping up with the pizza tradition.

Hector Cruz: “This is a real homey pizzeria. When you come in, when people come in, they feel like they’re in their living room listening to music, watching TV, the news, whatever we may have on. We always have Channel 7 on.”

From “She Bangs” chicken wings to pastas, they’ve expanded their menu to also create pizza art.

Hector Cruz: “Bring me any type of action figure, cartoon, I can turn that into a pizza. Your logo for your business. Anything that has some type of character in it.”

What about a Deco Drive one?

Hector Cruz: “You don’t have 5 hours, it’s very intricate, it’s going to be this big and we’re gonna send it to Deco Drive. Everything here is fresh, it’s a scratch kitchen. If you do like good food and homemade, made to order, scratch food, this is the place to come because we do it with extra, extra, extra love.”

Guest: “It’s amazing. They have the best pizza in Hollywood for sure. And I’ve never seen a place that does sesame seed crust on their pizza and it’s fantastic.”

Antonino’s came through and made Deco our very own pizza. How a-dough-rable!.

Music artist Shaggy makes a comeback with new album https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/music-artist-shaggy-makes-a-comeback-with-new-album/ Tue, 09 Dec 2025 03:20:21 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1649145 Shaggy’s back with a full album, and he’s feeling lucky.

His new single “Boom Body” is out and cashing in big with the fans.

Shaggy: “Everybody just throw your hands in the air and wave it like you don’t care.”

Mister Boombastic a-k-a. Shaggy loves to hype up the people.

But hyping himself up to drop a new album took some time.

Shaggy: “I haven’t put out a solo Shaggy album out in six years. I did some projects, side projects. I did Sinatra in Reggae, Me and Sting.”

Shaggy: “You should tell that story. I was gonna. I was about to start, and then you interrupted me as usual.”

Shaggy: “Ok.”

Sting: “So about three years ago.”

Shaggy: “I just want to make sure you said it correctly.”

Sting: “Can I start now?”

Shaggy: “Ok, yeah.”

Shaggy: “It’s nice when you get Sting singing dancehall, so it’s good.”

Shaggy: “He loves doing dancehall. He loves doing Reggae. He’s really big in the culture. Not a lot of people know that some of his biggest songs were written in Jamaica.”

Shaggy: “And I did a Soca EP with me and Kes and a bunch of us. And so I just wanted to do a full Shaggy one, you know.”

“Lottery” is due out in March with exciting collabs including his bestie, Sting. For the reggae star, timing is everything.

Shaggy: “But a full-length album, you know, I wasn’t in a place where I wanted to do it. Except now I’m happy with what I came up with. Got songs with me and Jeremiah, I got songs with me and Robin Thicke. Songs with Anthony Hamilton and me. Of course, the single with me, Akon, and Aidonia.”

“Boombody” is the first single from the record.

Miami Beach’s ‘No Vacancy’ art competition returns with a months-long showcase throughout hotel lobbies https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/miami-beachs-no-vacancy-art-competition-returns-with-a-months-long-showcase-throughout-hotel-lobbies/ Tue, 09 Dec 2025 03:10:17 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1649190 Art week is over, but Miami Beach isn’t done showing off. The city’s “No Vacancy” art competition is back, turning hotel lobbies into pop-up art spaces for a month-long showcase.

If you see a “No Vacancy” sign in Miami Beach this month. It might be a sign that the art has moved in.

The competitive Miami Beach art program is back for its sixth year!

Lissette Garcia Arrogante: “No vacancy, Miami Beach is a temporary public art program by the city of Miami Beach. It’s a wonderful way that the city is able to showcase the two industries that we are known for, which are tourism and arts and culture.”

Twelve hotels across the Art Deco playground will boast art crafted by local artists, and that includes all kinds of expression:

Lissette Garcia Arrogante: “You’re seeing anything from sculptures to video to painting, photography.”

She’s right.

You’ll be orbed into an artist dream when you check out “LIZN’BOW” latest creation at the betsy hotel.

Bow Ty: “All of our projects and all the things we worked on over the years, we’re creating all this digital art and media. We started bringing all these things together in this broader multiverse.”

Liz Ferrer: “Universe! The orb, the piece on the orb, has a little bit of everything.”

Like…

Liz Ferrer: “We have like a large inflatable that’s a unicorn cow on a jetski, for example.”

Bow Ty: “Yeah, you’ll see Liz’s grandma, her abuela.”

Liz Ferrer: “My grandma’s in it.”

Bow Ty: “riding a bicycle through the air.”

And they had to put the 305 in there.

Liz Ferrer: “You’ll also see that Miami’s in it. It’s a little bit submerged underwater, so we’re also talking about climate change in it.”

When you hit the Rivera suites, you’re gonna wanna think pink. “Heartware” by Artist Fabiola Larios suspends from the hotel entryway!

Fabiola Larios: “I think it’s a great opportunity and I love how they give us spaces to work and put out our art.”

And just a few blocks over at the Shelborne by Proper, you’ll find interactive artwork by Lee Pivnik.

Lee Pivnik: “We’re looking at my installation called Wellspring, and it’s a look into my practice, which spans video, sculpture, and sci-fi storytelling.”

Grab some headphones: You will need them!

Lee Pivnik: “It’s about a 4-minute video. It’s from the point of view of an octopus that’s kind of lying in a tidepool, and someone comes and pokes at it, and it jumps out on the land and starts becoming different people.”

This isn’t just for show – there’s real money on the line.

Lissette Garcia Arrogante: “No vacancy, Miami Beach has two prizes. It has a juror’s prize, and it has a people’s choice, so the total is 35 thousand dollars in prizes that these artists are up for each year.”

Liz Ferrer: “If you show us you voted for us, we’ll get you a free bow.”

Bow Ty: “Like one of these.”

Liz Ferrer: “We’ll buy 500 bows, we’ll pass them out. We’ll be here in the alley, and we’ll eat some pizza. Bada bing bada boom.”

“No Vacancy” will be on display at the hotels until Dec. 20, which means it is still time to vote for your favorite artist.

Take your pickleball game to the next level while taking a dip in the water on Boatsetter’s floating courts https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/take-your-pickleball-game-to-the-next-level-while-taking-a-dip-in-the-water-on-boatsetters-floating-courts/ Thu, 04 Dec 2025 02:32:24 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1647855 For pickleball and boat lovers out there, we have a special mash-up to tell you about. A floating pickleball court is now serving up some serious fun, all thanks to a trendsetter company that’s all about paddling into new territory, and it’s kind of challenging.

Diving for a pickleball is intense.

But what if you did it on water?

Julia Gonzalez: “I have never been in a floating pickleball court. I’ve been on a normal pickleball court. It was actually more fun ’cause of, like, the slippery aspect of, you know, you get in the water.”

Boatsetter is turning a Miami boat day into a dink and splash day.

Elisa O’Reilly: “We basically connect people to other people to experience the beauty of being on the water. The idea of bringing one of Miami’s favorite sports, or most popular sports at the moment, to the water felt very natural and innovative for Boatsetter to meet culture and Miami locals where they are.”

Just in time for art week, this special add-on aboard the Jerico is a match made in the ocean.

Elisa O’Reilly: “The floating pickleball court add-on is available for bookings exclusively through Boatsetter. It includes a minimum of a four-hour charter for 12 guests, refreshments, pickleball paddles, pickleballs, and pickleballs themselves.”

The balls are biodegradable so it won’t hurt the fishes.

Elisa O’Reilly: “I recommend coming in something sporty, any athleisure wear, but bring your swimsuit, you’ll wanna jump in. You’ll be pretty hot by the end of it, and you might be slipping and sliding. Depends on how competitive it gets.”

Oh, it’s game on!

Elisa O’Reilly: “Credit to Jason, owner of Jerico. He is already well known in the area for his floating water park. So when we’re thinking about who we can work with to make this dream a reality, it’s very obvious that Jason was the owner to do it with.”

Julia Gonzalez: “It’s very Miami, I mean, we’re on a beautiful yacht, on a pickleball court. I think anyone coming by would be, like, ‘Yeah, only in Miami.'”

You can add on — six, seven, or more experiences through Boatsetters, including this ultimate water experience.

‘LOUD’ roars across Miami Gardens for a week filled with fashion and art exhibits https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/loud-roars-across-miami-gardens-for-a-week-filled-with-fashion-and-art-exhibits/ Wed, 03 Dec 2025 01:17:52 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1647502 Miami Art Week is about to bloom, and “Loud” is planting the biggest seed of all. Creatives are coming together and turning Miami Gardens into a magical place. It’s a week filled with exhibits, fashion, art, and of course, a roaring good time.

Let’s get loud, Miami!

Dr. Karine Melissa, co-creator of Loud: “Loud, Love of Urban Design, has just become this hub for all things creative about us. We are really being loud about who we are and our culture and the love of it.”

This week-long cultural movement is all about growth this year, and the city of Miami Gardens is happy to host.

Dr. Karine Melissa: “This year’s theme is bloom. We are talking about how we are blooming as creatives. This is going to be most creative show yet.”

Fashion disruptors, “Cool Creative,” love to think outside the box.

Johanne Wilson, creator of cool: My husband is the illustrator, I do the design. People in music, in politics, you know, from MLK, Malcolm to Diana Ross. I mean, just all kinds of cultural icons. I just loved the drawings so much, and I just started putting them on clothing, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and even jackets.”

Singer and host Jennifer Hudson is a fan.

Johanne Wilson, creator of cool: “You think no one’s paying attention, and then I guess they are. Jennifer Hudson’s stylist reached out to us. Jennifer has been; she pretty much has the entire collection.”

Trying things out is the focus this year.

Johanne Wilson: “Corsets are really in, but what if you took a corset and threw it over a sweatshirt, what if there were two, you layered two or three. I don’t know, why not? And so we’re just having fun.”

Celebrating local artists, like Lump, is the heart of the event.

Lump, creator of Lavish and Looney: “loud piece, loud art, to go with loud fashion. I’ll be showcasing, I think, in this particular one, six pieces. All my pieces are fairly large. So it’s going to take up a lot of space.”

Be on the lookout for some feminine energy in his work.

Lump: “I love Deco Drive, have been watching it for years. Women are kinda like my go-to, and diamonds are kinda like my staple, so I kinda like to incorporate that in almost every personal painting I do.”

Grammy winner Samara Joy opens up about new jazz album ahead of Arsht Center concert https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/grammy-winner-samara-joy-opens-up-about-new-jazz-album-ahead-of-arsht-center-concert/ Fri, 28 Nov 2025 00:32:30 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1646118 Jazz queen Samara Joy is back with a brand-new album, and she’s hitting notes so smooth, they’re generating Grammy buzz. Deco’s got the inside scoop on her new work, and it’s giving award-worthy vibes.

The scatting 26 year-old Samara Joy is being compared to jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald.

Samara Joy: “I feel very honored and sometimes undeserving because of how new my relationship to their music was initially. I draw inspiration from Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington, that through the course of their lives contributed to the changing, to the evolution of the music that we call jazz.”

Samara Joy: “I know that there’s there’s always going to be a certain sense of nostalgia and a certain artist or song that people can connect to or relate to easily, because jazz is not mainstream.”

Samara is definitely trying to make jazz memorable with her new album, “Portrait.”

Samara Joy: “I think this album taught me the importance of patience and not rushing to stay relevant or spark up a moment, or just stay in that moment. It just – it taught me to just take my time and really wait until you have something you feel like you have to say.”

And staying true to herself is the right direction, even after winning five Grammys.

Samara Joy: “It was definitely a big leap, I think, from maybe what people thought I should do after the second album, after [winning] the Best New Artist [Grammy], after all of that kind of stuff.”

Samara Joy (singing): “Where do you find, your peace of mind.”

Samara Joy: “My song is called ‘Peace of Mind,’ and I wrote it in a time where I was really questioning whether I could continue or not.”

Continuing to make things bigger and better is what this global star has in mind.

Samara Joy: “This is just a springboard for all of the other creative ideas that I have and what I feel like I have to offer.”

Samara will perform live at the Arsht Center on Thursday, Feb. 12.

The power of the ‘Jo Bros’ — and social media — helped an Army vet gain attention to his résumé https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/the-power-of-the-jo-bros-and-social-media-helped-an-army-vet-gain-attention-to-his-resume/ Fri, 28 Nov 2025 00:32:26 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1646031 It’s hard to ignore a good viral moment when it happens, especially a career changing one.

Imagine waking up to millions of posts about you when all you did was send in a résumé. A special guy is getting some recognition, thanks to the power of the “Jo Bros.”

Getting a résumé looked at by a human is a big deal these days … but at a Jonas brothers concert?!

That’s like a “Year 3000” commitment. Which is why Jen Wilson posted this viral video on TikTok.

Jen: “It just, it was not the place that you would normally see something like that, in my opinion. I thought to myself, like, ‘This is the stuff you see on the internet,’ like, ‘This isn’t something you see in real life.’ And also, we’re at a Jonas Brothers concert.”

Zoom in, and see the PDF belongs to Army vet Scott Kelly. Fifty million-plus views and tons of comments later, Kelly’s become a household name.

Scott Kelly: “I got a message from a buddy of mine while sitting in class saying, ‘Hey, dude, you’re going famous on TikTok.'”

The Bros seeing the post jump in, with Nick writing that Scott’s work ethic and critical thinking inspired one of their songs.

Joe follows with, “Bro, Scott Kelly was there for me many times. Hired.”

Then Kevin comments, “I’m one of Scott Kelly’s references.”

Other big companies like Pepsi and AT&T joined in, wanting to hire the guy.

Nick Jonas: “Twenty years ago, the world looked a lot different — our cars, our clothes, our communication and even our hair. Along the way, we’ve learned the most important lesson of all: to cherish every moment.”

This all went down during their 20-year full circle celebration, “Greetings from Your Hometown Tour” at KeyBank Center in New York.

Jonas Brothers (singing): “I can’t lose when I’m with you.”

There they perform new and old hits and bring on top singers like Mario.

Mario (singing): “Baby, you should let me love you.”

Loving every sweet moment is Scott Kelly, who didn’t even know the group’s star power.

Scott Kelly: “Yeah, pop culture has never been my strong suite.”

But now he’s just one of the boys.

Scott Kelly: “Got a selfie together. And they said, ‘Hey, if you ever want tickets, you know, we’re going to set you up with our team.'”

And it’s all thanks to the power social media.

Scott Kelly: “I am grateful for Jen, and I think a lot of good’s ultimately going to come of this.”

The Carousel Club decks these halls for Christmas drinks, collectible cups at the Miracle Pop-up Bar https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/the-carousel-club-decks-these-halls-for-christmas-drinks-collectible-cups-at-the-miracle-pop-up-bar/ Wed, 26 Nov 2025 01:06:39 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1645622 The holidays are rolling in fast. At Carousel Club, they’re bringing in the jolly season with the biggest decorations — and shiniest balls you’ve seen. Of course, we mean Christmas ornaments, and thanks to the Miracle Bar — ’tis the season to get your spirits up.

The Miracle Pop-up Bar and their sippin’ Santas are spreading wonder all over the world and decided to land at Gulfstream’s Carousel Club.

Emi Guerra: “Miracles are part of the season and the Miracle Bar really does it right and it’s what they’re known for. And at Carousel Club, we really wanted to take it up another notch so we thought there’s a perfect partnership to really blend the two things together.”

From their Christmas carol barrel mugs to their newest — the miracle mouse mugs, these collectibles are the cutest.

Emi Guerra: “All the glassware, and the mugs that it comes in, can be bought and taken home. Their shots come with a take-home shot glass. Two of my favorite are the Christmopolitan and the snowball old-fashioned.”

But the decorations are the biggest presents of all.

Emi Guerra: “There’s quite a few Christmas gifts right here, just for Deco Drive. They’re hanging in the ceiling. They’re ten foot cubes or boxes. Plus you have these six foot ornaments overtaking the place.”

A complete cheery takeover.

Emi Guerra: “It’s a Christmas explosion! The second you walk in, the spirit just overtakes you. There’s so many lights. So much incredible decor. I think we have like 20 or 30 Christmas trees in here. We have Santas everywhere, toy soldiers everywhere, candy canes all over the place.”

Giving people a major dose of FOMO, AKA fear of missing out.

Alexandra Martinez: “Why not be here? The drinks, the people, the ambiance, everything is amazing here. You don’t want to walk out here. You want to be here all day long.”

The Miracle Bar at Carousel Club is open now until Dec. 28.

Deco takes you out on the perfect dinner date at these SoFlo museums https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/deco-takes-you-out-on-the-perfect-dinner-date-at-these-soflo-museums/ Thu, 20 Nov 2025 02:47:50 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1643531 Deco is taking you out for some food and a little culture. Because around SoFlo, there are a couple of spots serving art, with a side of carbs. Forget dinner and a movie, instead check out these two museums, two meals and zero guilt.

Julie Ann Emery as Casey in “Hitch”: “Did you ever hear of this guy that they call the date doctor?”

Eva Mendes as Sara in “Hitch”: “Urban myth.”

Julie Ann Emery as Casey in “Hitch”: “Really?”

Eva Mendes as Sara in “Hitch”: “Absolutely.”

A date doctor like “Hitch” is not necessary to plan a date in SoFlo because there are tons of options, like dinner and a museum.

Daniel Florit: “I think it’s a good way to meet somebody if it’s a first date. It’s a cute idea to come look at some art, have some good conversations then have some cocktails, some nice appetizers and just see where the night leads.”

At the Pérez Art Museum Miami, there’s a hidden foodie gem with true masterpiece meals.

Daniel Florit: “A lot of people don’t know we’re here actually. But no, this location is outstanding. Verde is an amazing restaurant located inside the Pérez Art Museum. We have an amazing menu that’s inspired by art with an amazing chef, Valerie.”

And this chef gets creative with the dishes.

Maritza Lacayo: “We have a tremendous privilege here where we work with our chef, who is wonderful. And she’s inspired by our shows. And so we have conversations with the kitchen, with the chef, and we tell them about the show and they create dishes that are inspired by the exhibition.”

Thursday nights, the PAMM is open late to chow down, enjoy art and enjoy those Miami views.

Martiza Lacayo: “I think if you’re going to come to the museum, you need to be well nourished. You can breeze through any museum, right? But we really offer opportunities for people to slow down. There’s so many works in the collection that require a little bit more contemplation so it’s great that you can come here, take a break.”

Over in Allapattah, Jon & Vinny’s is turning the Rubell Museum into a full-blown carb spot.

Damien Kinkela: “This is the first one outside of L.A. in the US. Jon and Vinny actually went to school in South Florida. Our hits, some of the dishes that are a little iconic to our brand, things like the spicy fusilli, the marinara braised meatballs, our pizzas, which are all fantastic.”

Walking around the 30 galleries takes energy and makes the perfect combination.

Alexandra Perez: “We exhibit the work from the Rubell’s private collection, which is now over 7,000 works of art. We thought it was a great fit for us. Museumgoers sometimes they want to make their museum experience a little bit more than that and have a nice dinner and cocktail after so Jon & Vinny’s can kind of do both of that.”

Take a trip to Colombia without leaving Miami at Pueblito Viejo with traditional Colombian foods and cocktails https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/take-a-trip-to-colombia-without-leaving-miami-at-pueblito-viejo-with-traditional-colombian-foods-and-cocktails/ Tue, 18 Nov 2025 01:18:06 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1642790 Get a taste of Colombia vibes without leaving Miami. Yep, a Miami spot is cramming the whole country’s town square into one place. The restaurant is an overload of senses, including your taste buds. It’s wild, colorful, and with Shakira watching your every arepa move.

A trip to Colombia? Poof, you’re there!

Thais Sanchez, MOS: “The second you walk in, I feel like I’m transported to Colombia.”

Because at Pueblito Viejo in Miami, pretty much every corner — up, down, and all around — is covered with something Colombian, including celebrities.

Thais Sanchez, MOS: “Oh, oh my gosh, wait, I didn’t even see, OK, Carlos Vives, I see him right there. Who else is here? Karol G, Maluma, Shakira, is Shakira here?”

Jeffrey Rodriguez, Director of Operations: She’s here. Just in a permanent mannequin form right next to Maluma, Carlos Vives, J Balvin, everybody. This is actually all of my dad’s creative talents.”

Jeffrey Rodriguez: “And he’s constantly changing stuff in here. He comes in and sees something he wants to make different. So you’re gonna see a lot of gems in the decor.”

Gems like these tables, handmade from the now-dead penny.

Jeffrey Rodriguez: “This might be a historic table then. Wait until you see our VIP penny wall. My dad, for some reason, loves pennies. He built a whole corner of the restaurant in just pennies.”

But the real jewel is, of course, the food and drinks.

Jeffrey Rodriguez: “We are most well known for our churrascos and our traditional Colombian food, sancocho, bandeja, arepas, chorizos, de todo. We have a mixologist now that’s changed up our cocktails. So it’s not just aguardiente anymore.”

And of course, fútbol/soccer fans are welcome.

Jeffrey Rodriguez: “We’ve actually started playing the soccer games. There might be some soccer specials coming up. It’s always a vibe here. It’s always lively and everyone’s gonna have a good time, whether it’s eating, drinking, or dancing. The energy here is constant.”

Pueblito is open late on Thursday to Sunday.

Pincho flips back the clock with classic meals to celebrate its 15th anniversary serving burgers https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/pincho-flips-back-the-clock-with-classic-meals-to-celebrate-its-15th-anniversary-serving-burgers/ Sat, 15 Nov 2025 02:38:48 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1642299 Pincho is flipping back the clock for its 15th anniversary and serving up the throwback hits that built this SoFlo burger joint one week at a time. Get those taste buds ready. Let’s fire up the memories and the grills.

Satisfying, flavorful cravings has been Pincho’s legacy for 15 years.

Otto Othman: “I think it’s like a Daddy Yankee moment for us. We sort of graduated from the reggaeton and now we want to give back to others.”

Chef Adrian Sanchez is the man behind some of the fan favorites.

Otto Othman: “Every Tuesday, they will come up with something incredible, something, like, crazy out of this world just to get people to talk about us. That became part of who we are. We became this Latin-inspired burger joint, although we sell skewers, which is, like, what Pincho is.”

To celebrate their milestone birthday…

Otto Othman: “We decided why not bring back four old school items.”

Otto Othman: “Next week’s special is the quesadilla burger.”

Adrian Sanchez: “So we are switching it up a little bit this year, we are doing a smash-style version of our quesadilla. We were gonna smash these down.”

It’s all about the bistec week of Nov. 21.

Otto Othman: “We created the pan con pincho. So instead of your typical bistec, it comes with a steak pincho in the middle.”

Adrian Sanchez: “This is very important. So this right here is what packs all the flavor in. There’s our secret mojo grilled onions.”

Then the cartel follows after.

Otto Othman: “We have the cartel burger and hotdog with the original mango sauce.”

Adrian Sanchez: “This is like one of the old school sauces of Pincho, which we’re bringing back just for this special. Our papitas go right on top.”

To wrap it up, it’s time to party Dec. 7.

Otto Othman: “We decided to throw a massive block party. So we’re doing a block party at Pincho Flagler. We have a surprise that day. I’ll give you a hint, it is the winner of our first SoBe wine burger bash. Everybody’s gonna know.”

The fusion vibe of chef kriss (like coffee) Kofi will be present at this family friendly event and he’s showing off his delicate creation.

Chef kriss kofi, owner of treelion restaurant: “ackee salt fish wonton peppa pot soup so this is like an asian cuisine from an afro perspective. The dumplings that traditional jamaican chefs would use in a soup, i replaced that with the wonton. So i sauteed up the ackee salt fish and then i stuffed it in the wonton soup, steamed it, then boiled it. You’ve never seen this one before. It’s exclusive.”

There’s no wrong way to eat a spoonful of this yumminess.

Chef kriss kofi: “i do know when jamaicans eat dumpling they gonna bite piece of it and you know. I’m just really looking forward to being around a whole bunch of jamaican people because we did just get hit with a big hurricane. So i’m just looking for collective love.”

Dine above the Miami skyline as Japanese fusion ‘Yamashiro’ opens rooftop restaurant https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/dine-above-the-miami-skyline-as-japanese-fusion-yamashiro-opens-rooftop-restaurant/ Tue, 11 Nov 2025 01:01:11 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1640992 From west to east, one of Hollywood’s most iconic hotspots is making a move to the 305. Yamashiro is rolling out the red carpet and sushi rolls to Miamians — rooftop style.

From stunning views to nature’s elements, they’re mixing tradition with Miami flair and bringing a very old door?

“Kill Bill” might’ve trashed the iconic Yamashiro restaurant in Hollywood Hills while filming the deadly flick.

But in Miami, the action’s just getting started.

Carlos Cruz, partner: “After 114 years, we were able to persuade and be able to partner up and bring this beautiful concept for the first time outside of its comfort zone to the beautiful City of Miami. From the 600-year-old door of that pagoda of that sacred building that we brought in.”

…to the lush gardens atop the Gale Miami Hotel.

Carlos Cruz: “Through these pathways, you find little niches, little tables. You have this table at the corner that we call the Sunset Table, surrounded by all these bamboos that with the wind, the sound, the water, the fire, the music, and the good food and drinks. That’s Yamashiro Miami.”

OK, speaking of food and drinks, What’s on the menu?

Chef Charbel Hayek: “It’s sexy food, that’s the best word, I think. It’s a bold and upscale Japanese cuisine that is inspired by the iconic restaurant in Yamashiro Hollywood.”

Of course, there’s sushi and seafood.

Chef Charbel Hayek: “One of my favorite dishes is the Alaskan king crab covered with an amazing hollandaise.”

Their “Three Kings” meat platter is definitely fit for queens, too.

Chef Charbel Hayek: “It’s three different cuts of steaks, we offer Denver steak, bavette, and filet mignon served with XO black sauce and chizo chimichurri.”

Their full bar is rolling in a cart-sized martini show. But the breathtaking views are made for unlimited selfies.

Daniella Alvarez, MOS: “At night, you could see the buildings, all the lights, the city skyline.”

Will Smith: “I think that went really well. You know we can do two on two teams. You know me and you against Tom and Marc. We’ll start there, you know. What do you think?”

Rafa Nadal: “They are good on the radio.”

Will Smith: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

The Latin legend is heading to Sin City for a once-in-a-lifetime residency. Marc chatted with Deco to talk all about it. So gear up for all the hits, hips, and big salsa energy.

Marc Anthony always equals a serious dose of salsa.

Marc Anthony: “Oh, you think so, oh you think so, I’m just kidding. Oh, you know so.”

The superstar is checking off his bucket list and hitting Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater with his very first residency — “Vegas… My Way!”

Marc Anthony: “The difference between Vegas and anything I’ve ever done is this is a show I’ve never done in my life. I’m singing songs I haven’t been able to perform live ever. Whether it’s the duets or a combination of the English songs, the Pitbull songs.”

Marc Anthony: “I want everybody to understand that if you’re there that night, I’m gonna enjoy just as much as you are because it’s so fresh. This is bucket list stuff.”

And that means big energy, big emotions, and Marc’s classics with a sprinkle of some new hits.

Marc Anthony: “It’s going to be an intimate night of songs you absolutely love, that I love as well. That has been number one. It’ll change every night. It’s just going to be a celebration of music. Fun intimate, you know Vegas the way I would do it.”

And fans can always expect the heat from the “King of Salsa.”

Marc Anthony: “Well, the fire is within me. I don’t do the whole dancer thing. I have the stadium show, I have the arena show, and what Vegas gives you the opportunity to be consistent. You have one production, the best lights, the best sounds, the best production. The best everything.”

Marc Anthony’s Sin City run starts February 13, and pre-sale tickets will be up for grabs starting tomorrow.

Demi Lovato’s newest album is about having fun and being carefree ahead of her next tour https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/demi-lovatos-newest-album-is-about-having-fun-and-being-carefree-ahead-of-her-next-tour/ Tue, 04 Nov 2025 02:11:59 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1638074 Demi Lovato’s diving back into the spotlight and this time she’s keeping things light. She’s hitting the road after dropping her newest album. Deco got a taste of Demi’s delicious life lately and she’s keeping it cute, catchy and totally carefree.

Demi Lovato is done taking things so seriously.

In her album, “It’s Not That Deep,” Demi’s leaving all the drama at home.

Demi Lovato: “It’s a simple, party fun song and it’s sexy and it’s like, that’s what it is. And I think so much of my past was, like, I want to try and write, you know, deeply emotional songs about my past. And with this album, I was like, ‘I’m in a place where I’m having fun. I want my lyrics to reflect that too.'”

For the pop star, combining heartbreak to a breakthrough is important. Just like in, “Here All Night.”

Demi Lovato: “It’s about someone that’s really struggling through a breakup but they’re going to dance on the dance floor until her heart gets out.”

Tying the knot with her person is a huge part of her journey.

Demi Lovato: “I found the love of my life and we’re married and he helps me feel confident. He helps me, you know, live in the moment. And I think it’s a combination of everything coming together, right?”

And being more mature.

Demi Lovato: “I think there’s something about your 30s too, where you just take a second and you are able to let go of some of the pressures that you once put on yourself maybe in your 20s, and now I’m 33 and I’m not taking myself so seriously because I realize there’s room for everyone.”

Going on the road with this album is just like the most festive time of year.

Demi Lovato: “It’s like waking up on Christmas morning when you’re 6 years old. I was like, ‘Wow, I’m really sure of this album and I’m really sure of this era,’ but so many people are too and that’s really rewarding and I can’t wait to bring the show on the road.”

Demi’s bringing her new music live next year, with a stop in Orlando, April 10.

SoFlo artist Gabby B is turning the tables on Hefner in new single ‘Playboy Bunny’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/soflo-artist-gabby-b-is-turning-the-tables-on-hefner-in-new-single-playboy-bunny/ Tue, 28 Oct 2025 19:56:43 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1635967 Playboy is relocating its headquarters to the heart of Miami, and local Brazilian pop-star Gabby B’s got the perfect anthem to match –with her new single, ‘Playboy Bunny’. Last time we saw Gabby on Deco, she was talking about “Leche” now, she’s flipping the bunny life into boss energy and we’re all ears!

Gabby B (singing): “All the boys they love me, sexy like a Playboy bunny. I taste sweet like honey. I will take your money.”

Gabby B is channeling centerfold status for all women.

Gabby B: “I don’t even think you need the ears. I think honestly just, you know, do your hair and take care of yourself and you’re a Playboy bunny. I feel like any girl can be a Playboy bunny, for sure.”

In her newest drop, “Playboy Bunny,” she’s showing off her spunky side.

Gabby B: “I wanted something a little controversial. So I brought in a Hugh Heffner look alike and I wanted to be like, ‘OK, I’m gonna kidnap him and I’m gonna take over the house. Now it’s my mansion and he’s down at the basement and now all the girls rule the house.'”

Dancing to this song should be a sport.

Gabby B: “The belly roll, yeah I love doing a lot of belly dance stuff. I’m big on that. But honestly it’s all in the core. It’s very core heavy. You can’t look like a mosquito but yeah it’s fun, I love it. I love to, not only sing my songs, but perform it. I am gonna be performing for Halloween on Halloween at The Manor in Fort Lauderdale.”

Her new album due out next year, mixes Brazilian Funk and pop.

Gabby B: “Brazilian funk is usually I just like to just describe it in a voice sound, it’s usually like chu, cha, cha, cha and that’s literally the sound. They’re gonna be part of the Funkladia EP. It’s gonna be a big EP and it’s going to be a whole world, which I’m excited about.”

Gabby’s also excited to be hitting high notes of the National Anthem nationwide.

Gabby B: “Oh my gosh. I almost puked the first time I did it. It’s honestly an honor to do it. I’ve done it for a lot of NBA teams and I’ve also done it for baseball teams.

But there’s one thing that’s not funny to this Brazilian playboy bunny: remembering the words to the Star Spangled Banner.

Gabby B: “The thing that stresses me out the most is to forget the lyrics. You never want to do that.”

The cast of ‘Regretting You’ talks about first love and grief in romantic drama adaptation https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/the-cast-of-regretting-you-talks-about-first-love-and-grief-in-romantic-drama-adaptation/ Fri, 24 Oct 2025 02:01:29 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1635006 You know the saying, no regerts — oh, I mean, no regrets — well the flick, “Regretting You” is full of it. But in this case, regrets are not for following your heart — not misspelling a tattoo. Deco got to sit down and do a one-on-one with the cast to talk about the past, future and The Real Housewives?

Mother-daughter relationships are complicated.

Based on Colleen Hoover’s book “Regretting You,” this romantic drama touches on grief, betrayal and first love.

Mckenna Grace and Mason Thames play the teens experimenting in love and kissing.

Mckenna Grace: “MTV, best kiss award.”

Mason Thames: “We’re right here.”

Mckenna Grace: “We’re right here. We did a lot of kissing in this movie.”

Mason Thames: “You know we earned it.”

Mckenna Grace: “We put in hours.”

Oh, don’t forget body lifts.

Mason Thames: “Every video we’re in together, I just pick you up. It’s kind of how it works now.”

Mckenna Grace: “I love it.”

Mason Thames: “I love it too.”

Mckenna Grace: “I’m having a great time.”

Mason Thames: “Pretty great.”

Mason Thames: “Most of the time we’re just walking around and I’m like, ‘Hop on my back.'”

Mckenna Grace: “And I’m like, ‘No.'”

Mason Thames: “Because she’s wearing these loafers. The most uncomfortable thing possible. So I’m like, ‘I know your feet hurt.'”

Mckenna Grace: “No. Whoa, whoa. Leave my loafers out of this.”

Mason Thames: “They look cool.”

Mckenna Grace: “I need the height.”

Hunky Scott Eastwood is dad to Mckenna’s character and has some advice for the youngins out there.

Scott Eastwood: “Spend less time off your phone and get out there in the real world and have real conversations with people, you know, be present. This thing, we’re gonna start a whole generation of people bent over and stand up straight, you know.”

Dave Franco and Allison Williams are high school friends in the movie but death forces them to regret a messy secret and makes them reminisce.

Allison Williams: “In this movie, there was also a visual nostalgia to our wardrobes in the flashback scenes.”

Dave Franco: “Oh, yeah.”

Allison Williams: “To me, that was so intense. Like, hearing the flip flop sounds of you and Scott moving around.”

Dave Franco: “Totally. Totally, cargo shorts. We got the bright blue, American Eagle polo.”

But when life gets to lifin’ too hard, there’s nothing like reality TV.

Allison Williams: “I love ‘Unscripted.’ And I’ve just began, I’m a baby Bravo person and I am on season four of the ‘Real Housewives of New York,’ and I am living for it. Not to name drop, but I did get this advice from Andy Cohen, next I’m gonna do Beverly Hills, then New Jersey, so I’m on a journey. I’m very excited. I’ll be hosting all the panels at Bravo Con next year.”

The juicy plot of “Regretting You” hits theaters tomorrow.

The cast of ‘The Hand That Rocks the Cradle’ promises to creep you out in psychological thriller remake https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/the-cast-of-the-hand-that-rocks-the-cradle-promises-to-creep-you-out-in-psychological-thriller-remake/ Thu, 23 Oct 2025 01:30:50 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1634677 The hand is so amazing, it can do many things. It can text, it can wave, or rock a cradle like in a new version of “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” that’s rocking the streaming world. Deco got the scoop from its stars, and they promise it’s still as creepy as ever.

The cradle is rocking again.

In the remake of the 1992 psychological thriller, “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,” there’s still a nanny that’s still not right in the head.

At least, that’s what they want us to think.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead: “It’s a very different film. It’s really, I think, taking it to a very current, kind of modern place in all aspects.”

Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays a desperate mom, looking for help with her two kids. And just like the original, this version is messy.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead: “We’ve talked about how great the energy of the ’90s thriller is, so fun and fantastic and we all love it. But that gets to kind of exist in that place and now we have this that kind of exists in our current time.”

And for actress Maika Monroe, playing an intense live-in au-pair touches her creative side.

Maika Monroe: “I was, like, really ready, I think, for something different. And this role was something, like, completely different for me and it was an absolute blast.”

Even director Michelle Garza Cervera was scared to not live up to the hype.

Michelle Garza Cervera: “Just the idea of remaking that movie was so intimidating, so at first I was really reluctant, you know, because it’s touching such an iconic and legendary film. When I knew that I could build a whole movie that could stand on its own, that had its own identity, I was like, ‘OK, I can work on this project.'”

The ultimate goal is to still creep you out.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead: “At the end of the day, you’re still going to be totally creeped out and terrified, which is what you want with a film like this.”

Maika Monroe: “I think it is.”

The latest version of “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” is now streaming on Hulu.

SoFlo singer Vella channels Amy Winehouse with raspy, emotional new album https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/soflo-singer-vella-channels-amy-winehouse-with-raspy-emotional-new-album/ Fri, 17 Oct 2025 01:36:50 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1633100 Instead of searching “Florida man” or your birthday on the internet, look up Florida’s rising star – Vella. That’s with a “V” — for verified, because she’s certainly social media verified and Vella’s proof the Sunshine State can produce some talent. Deco’s got the inside scoop on her new album — and how she’s riding the waves to stardom.

Vella is not wasting a beat with her new song and album called, “All My Love.”

Vella: “It’s such an awful feeling realizing that, like, someone’s not truly caring about you like you’re caring about them in a way. It’s really heartbreaking but at the same time you got to step your foot, like, you got to put your foot down. And that’s what ‘All My Love’ is about.”

[Music video intro]

Vella: “I love how it starts, like, because it gives, like, just, like, a pouring out, like, your feelings out, slamming that door, it’s the best. I remember we had to do, we had to take a couple of takes on that ’cause I was like, ‘Oh, I got to showcase my anger.'”

The 10-track drop is an outpouring of herself.

Vella: “I always say this album is like a diary of mine. Like you don’t want people seeing your diary but at the same time, like, showcasing, also people can relate to what you’re feeling. So that you’re not alone.”

Channeling the late Amy Winehouse got her start to fame.

Vella: “I got signed in L.A. and, because of TikTok, they saw a video, which, I remember it was a song cover that I did of ‘Me & Mr Jones’ by Amy Winehouse. I just let all my emotions out. That’s part of the ways that I express that, is through my rasp. Like you hear everything through that. And, like, all the imperfections. Which I’m very grateful that I have that part of my voice. It’s my favorite part of me is my raspiness of my voice.”

Wherever she’s at, east coast is home.

Vella: “Oh, I would love to write a song about Florida for sure. ‘Cause I mean, one of my happy places is the beach. I just want to make sure that my music just gives you all the unfiltered, rawness and just all the imperfections in my voice, all the vocal cracks, just everything, just truly Vella and truly unfiltered.”

Miami Fashion Week returns with designers who are bringing a Latin twist https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/miami-fashion-week-returns-with-designers-who-are-bringing-a-latin-twist/ Fri, 17 Oct 2025 00:13:35 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1633099 Miami Fashion Week is here, and it’s time to strut the South Florida way. Deco’s got a sneak peek from a couple of designers, who are bringing major Latin flair. Fashion icon, Nicole Miller, is also showing up for some runway realness. It’s very mindful, very demure. But oh so 305 fierce.

Talk about hot stuff.

Miami Fashion Week is taking over the world.

Lourdes Fernandez-Valasco, executive director for Miami Fashion Week: “When you go anywhere in the world and you say Miami Fashion Week, everybody turns their heads. Like it’s a very powerful city, it’s a powerful brand.”

Starting October 21st through the 26th, stylish happenings will hit spots all over Soflo.

Lourdes Fernandez-Valasco: “We do have a small percentage of tickets that are sold to the public. During the summit, which is going to take place here at Miami Dade College on the second day, which is Wednesday the 22nd, we have two keynote speakers, who are going to be Nicole Miller.”

Nicole Miller (in video): “I’m very excited to get to my favorite city for Miami Fashion Week. I’ll be showing an exhibit of my Resort 23 collection, and I’m very excited to meet up with the students and some fellow designers.”

Veteran designer Sitka Semsch is kicking off the week with a show inside her store at Merrick Park.

Sitka Semsch, designer: “We believe in handcrafted pieces, which we have so many hand-knitting, hand crochet, hand macrame. We support two NGOs in Peru, and we teach women how to weave so they can sustain their households.”

Contemporary with a hint of timelessness is what she’s bringing to the runway.

Sitka Semsch, designer: “It’s a mixture. Pants, dresses, and what you’re going to see is how I like to mix and match the whole collection. It’s a mixture of Baby Alpaca, it’s a mixture of our macramés, and all the core and the essence of the brand. I always have this phrase, it says,’ ‘It’s not about the clothes, but it’s about the woman.'”

Project Runway winner, Jhoan Sebastian Grey, is turning the volume down for this year’s collection.

Jhoan Sebastian Grey: “So this collection is called Quiet Grief and I lean more into that part, like expressing myself with these two hands. The entire collection is made out of leather and a weaving technique that we created when we were on Project Runway.”

Jhoan Sebastian Grey: “We’re gonna see a little bit of skin, we’re gonna see a little bit of like a more conceptual work. We have a dress that is made of a leaf we call this leaf in Colombia, hoja rota.”

Headlining the last runway show is like icing on the catwalk cake.

Jhoan Sebastian Grey: “No pressure, but I think people are really gonna enjoy the collection because they’re gonna see very interesting pieces.”

Week or day passes are still available to the public.

Miami Carnival returns to celebrate Caribbean culture with plumage costume pageantry, dancing and fun https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/miami-carnival-returns-to-celebrate-caribbean-culture-with-plumage-costume-pageantry-dancing-and-fun/ Fri, 10 Oct 2025 01:35:52 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1631092 Miami-Broward Carnival is gearing up for its annual party, packed with culture and tons of bling. The multiple day celebrations include tons of food, entertainment and a parade full of feathery costumes that could make a peacock jealous. We’ve got a sneak peek of the grand looks and they scream the bigger the feather, the bigger the fun.

Stop, drop and whine it out at Miami Carnival.

John Beckford: “Here we are, 41st edition of Miami Carnival. It’s all about the beauty, the pageantry.”

This weekend-long Caribbean celebration starts Friday with steel pan jamboree.

Then Saturday, where the rain is welcome.

John Beckford: “We don’t mind if it rains Saturday. J’ouvert is all about getting messy. It’s the water, the paint, the mud, it’s a lot of fun. That starts at 7 a.m., by the way.”

The grand “Carnival Day and Concert” goes down Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the road promises to be filled with bold costumes.

John Beckford: “The regal look, that feel that you get when you kind of, like, own the road, I’m telling you, the beauty this year, it’s kind of like unparalleled. You’ll just be amazed, you know, some incredible work, you have incredible designers.”

Designers like the 305’s very own Lila Nikole.

And just like many, Carnival was an experience of freedom for her.

Lila Nikole: “I went to Jamaica Carnival on a weekend with my friends and we just bought costumes off of a website. We didn’t know what Carnival was and the second we experienced it, I was like, ‘I need this.’ I’m kind of one of the newer faces but I’ve been doing Miami ever since.”

Color on top of bling, that’s her process.

Lila Nikole: “I love color on color with some color and, like, more obnoxious color, that’s the way I design. This year, I had to design two costumes for Miami and they’re for sister bands, ‘Competitors,’ and they let me choose the theme. Both of them were inspired by tribes. So one of them is called Taino, I’m Puerto Rican, so I dug into my heritage to find little trinkets.”

The grander the feathers, the better.

Lila Nikole: “Feathers are like an art right, and they are my nemesis, also it has a lot of orange, aqua, hot pinks and the other one is softer, but with edge, like a mohawk with some pretty pastels, but it can’t be too pretty for me.”

Believe it or not, there’s still time to get these handmade costumes.

Lila Nikole: “You would go online and you would pick your type of top, your type of bottom, your type of head piece, leg piece, like an a-la-cart. I want every girl, guy, whatever, to be able to wear costume, to feel strong and powerful and to climb up a wall and do a cartwheel and do whatever they want and it’s still on and they look fantastic. That’s my goal.”

Ticket prices vary and so do the locations of the events.

Miami’s Museum of Sex is hosting a late night show that’s giving cabaret a new twist https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/miamis-museum-of-sex-is-hosting-a-late-night-show-thats-giving-cabaret-a-new-twist/ Thu, 09 Oct 2025 00:20:43 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1630683 Miami’s Museum of Sex is fogging up glasses with a steamy show. They’re bringing the sizzle with “Erotica by Nocturna.” We’re talking body-bending moves — mixed with fantasy. This is a late-night vibe, taking over the elements.

Stephanie Stein, Director of Marketing and PR at MOSX: “We’ll have people in the water, people in the air, people on the stage, people walking around. It’s gonna be – it’s a lot of fun.”

Sounds like Museum of Sex is combining some bold moves with “Erotica by Nocturna.”

Stephanie Stein: “While we treat, you know, sex and desire and human sexuality in a serious way, there’s also room for fun and playfulness. Erotica by Nocturna and Nocturna is an immersive theater group, and they’re going to be doing, you can call it an avant-garde cabaret.”

For a limited run, step inside the museum’s new late-night show, where it’s giving cabaret a new twist.

Stephanie Stein: “It’s going to be elements of burlesque, of aerialist. We’re going to have underwater performances. There may be a snake involved. The performers are also going to interact with our visitors, so there will be a real sense of sort of surprise and delight.”

There are two types of tickets to experience the hot program.

Stephanie Stein: “The performance will take place at 10:45 p.m. The first entry is at 9:30 p.m. If you want to buy the ticket with a guided tour, that sort of builds the excitement as you’re looking at the erotic paintings, or you can just come for the performance itself, which will take place in Super Funland.”

Inside Super Funland, the artsy but edgy night continues on.

Stephanie Stein: “There’s a lot to do in Super Funland. We have over 20 games and rides, from our Bucking Bronco to our Comma Ultra. There are a lot of little theater shows. Great for a date night, great for a girls’ night. It’ll be very magical and dreamlike, and hopefully what it’ll be for people is an escape of a beautiful, fun, exciting, seductive evening out.”

Tickets to this sultry theatrical journey start at $55.

Deco finds out what stardom sounds like for the ‘Golden’ trio behind ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/deco-finds-out-what-stardom-sounds-like-for-the-golden-trio-behind-kpop-demon-hunters/ Wed, 08 Oct 2025 00:10:02 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1630230 Join the millions of fans who are humming a tune from the hit movie “KPop Demon Hunters” and then wondering if the voice actors and singers are the same. Well, the secret’s out. The stars of the pop group Huntrix are glowing behind the shadows. Deco’s unmasking the true demon-divas behind the hits, and they’re promising to be icons in the making.

Life’s only going up for the real voices behind pop group Huntrix, and the “golden” matchup is heavenly.

Ejae: “The synergy was iconic and, like, we all sound amazing together and we, like, can’t do it without these girls.”

Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” became a massive hit out of nowhere.

Ejae: “Feel like if you ask anyone from ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ ‘Did you expect it?’ It’s like, ‘Nope. No one expected anything.'”

Audrey Nuna: “Yeah, that’s been the beauty of it, though. It’s just everything is so surprising and fresh and new, and every day it’s just like a new stratosphere of, ‘Wow, this movie is just breaking, not even records at this point, just the mold of like what it means to even break records.'”

Ejae: “Yeah.”

Rei Ami: “Yeah.”

Each one brings something to the singing triple threat.

Audrey Nuna: “I feel like we all brought something very real and close to our hearts when we decided to sing for these characters, because I feel like we deeply relate to a lot of the things that they’re talking about.”

Like…

Audrey Nuna: “Just working hard, the grind, and also just being your full self, embracing your full self; that’s always a journey.”

They’re embracing being just the voices of the songs and not the full-blown stardom craziness.

Audrey Nuna: “It’s clutch.”

Ejae: “Love it.”

Rei Ami: “It’s nice.”

Ejae: “Love going, yeah, love going to H Mart, hearing my songs in there, but just picking out the right kimchi and no, you know, in my pajamas. Great.”

Rei Ami: “No makeup.”

Audrey Nuna: “Kimchi is good.”

For the newly formed besties, there’s nothing like unity through music.

Ejae: “Pop music is a universal language. I think power of everyone singing the melodies, uniting everyone from different races, different cultures together.”

Mariah Carey’s new album delivers ‘Sugar Sweet’ tracks and Deco is ‘Here For It All’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/mariah-careys-new-album-delivers-sugar-sweet-tracks-and-deco-is-here-for-it-all/ Tue, 07 Oct 2025 00:23:08 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1629920 Get ready to whistle for joy. Mariah Carey is back with a new album, and we’re “Here For It All.” The diva hasn’t dropped a full record since 2018, and this time around, she’s serving up some delicious tracks. So lambs, brace yourselves. Mimi’s still queen, and she’s telling us all about it.

Mariah Carey (singing): “Play this song, by yourself. And your friends don’t talk about it, about your suffering in your silence. Boy, I know you miss me.”

And oh, boy, did we miss Mariah Carey!

Mariah Carey: “Oh, we’re calling it the era of me.”

In her new era, Mimi just dropped her 16th studio album, “Here For It All.”

Mariah Carey: “I was working on this album for so long. I didn’t even know like, ‘Was I going to put it out? What was it going to be?’ And it just became something that I then sort of focused on and said, ‘I’m going to make this my 16th album,’ which I can’t even believe it is.”

The 11-track vibe is giving some major nostalgia, especially “Type Dangerous,” her sample version of…

Mariah Carey: “This one with Eric B Is President, I was – we were at restaurant, and they started playing different songs and, you know, Eric B and Rakim came on, and I was like, ‘I haven’t heard this in so long, we’ve got to use it.’ We did certain things that aren’t necessarily samples, but they give you a vibe, like a very summertime vibe, like ‘Sugar Sweet.'”

Mariah knows her lambs will be paying close attention to her every word.

Mariah Carey: “I love my fans. Like, we have this whole thing with ‘The Lambily.’ I know they’re going to really be focused on what I’ve written about, what type of music, those selections I’ve made. I’ve kind of had to put something spiritual in there, because it’s for me.”

2 Broward cities are hosting unique events to celebrate Oktoberfest https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/2-broward-cities-are-hosting-unique-events-to-celebrate-oktoberfest/ Thu, 02 Oct 2025 00:11:08 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1628600 It’s stein holding and wurst eating time, also known as Oktoberfest! Two fests are on a mission to bring SoFlo all the hoppy happenings — with a Munich twist. From an all-you-can-drink party to limited edition brews, it’s enough to make everybody feel like a wiener.

Don’t get your lederhosen in a bunch and raise those heavy steins high, because it’s Oktoberfest!

Guest: “Definitely as a beer fan, I would say it’s one of the biggest festivals of the year.”

And local Floridian Funky Buddha is bringing this Bavarian celebration to life.

Alex Ferrari, Director of Marketing at Funky Buddha: “Oktoberfest, we obviously want to celebrate beer. At the end of the day, that is at the core of who we are.”

All the Oktober-festing is happening now inside their tap room, Friday thru Sunday, outside at Jaco Pastorius Park.

Alex Ferrari: “That is where we have the big, big Oktoberfest celebration with the city of Oakland Park, where we’re going to have dachshund races, we’re going to be doing keg races, lots of beer available for everybody.”

The craft beer fun continues with limited edition flavors.

Alex Ferrari: “This year, we have Buddha Fest, which is a märzen, a type of fest beer. We have a helles lager, so it’s a very nice, easy drinking, very crispy. We have a doppelbock so that’s a little bit on the darker side, and then of course, our chef never want to let us down, brought four different very Munich-inspired dishes.”

Dania Beach is also toasting the lager feast with their third annual Beerfest.

Cassi Waren, Director of Parks and Recreation at Dania Beach: “To kick off our Dania After Dark series this year, we’re starting with our Oktoberfest event on Oct. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m., here at our City Hall.”

The craving for this free family-friendly event keeps growing every year.

Cassi Waren: “We add new things. We have extra tasting vendors, new features, new food that we bring out. We continue to expand our VIP tent. The entire open area is free, anybody can come to the area. The ticket is only for the tasting portion. To Cheers with Us, you have to have a ticket.”

The ticket gets you unlimited pours from over 40 craft beer vendors on site.

Cassi Waren: “The stein. You get a stein with your ticket. This is your tasting mug. It’s just a fun, family-friendly time for people to come out. Free parking and a great location.”

Deco sits down with stars of ‘High Potential’ ahead of season 2 where family drama takes the spotlight https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/deco-sits-down-with-stars-of-high-potential-ahead-of-season-2-where-family-drama-takes-the-spotlight/ Wed, 01 Oct 2025 02:14:42 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1628210 Crime series “High Potential” is trying to live up to its potential. Deco sat down with the stars to get some tea on what to expect for season two. And let’s just say, it’s a work in progress.

Kaitlin Olson (as Morgan): “I know you guys aren’t completely sold on my theory. But hopefully this should clear things up,”

Daniel Sunjata (as Detective Karadec): “Is this what the inside of your mind looks like?”

Kaitlin Olson (as Morgan): “Oh buddy, not even close.”

The show follows a high IQ, single mom played by Kaitlin Olson — with a gift to see a crime scene a little differently.

Actor, Daniel Sunjata, plays her detective partner and Amirah J is her teenage daughter.

They say Tuesday’s episode tackles some family drama.

Amirah J: “I feel like she deserves grace to a certain extent. I mean, it is her father that she knows nothing about but she wants to so bad. Putting myself in her shoes, I feel like I’d react the same way and, you know, get myself in a little bit of trouble, poke my nose where it doesn’t belong.”

Daniel Sunjata: “Get arrested.”

Amirah J: “Yeah, right.”

Yeah, young Ava is being rebellious in episode three but will we get some answers about her dad?

Catch “High Potential” Tuesdays on ABC at 10 p.m. Eastern.

Major Lazer returns to the music scene with new tunes and 4th member https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/major-lazer-returns-to-the-music-scene-with-new-tunes-and-4th-member/ Wed, 01 Oct 2025 00:15:41 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1628214 Turn up the volume! Major Lazer’s back with new music, new vibes, and yep, a new member. The group is going from a threesome to a foursome and channeling some female energy. Deco’s got the lowdown on their first single and their plans to keep the dancehall beats going.

EDM group Major Lazer is in a new era.

Walshy Fire, DJ/Major Lazer member: :Major Lazer has its particular sound, you know, so it already just fits. We are a dancehall-inspired EDM group, so we’re always gonna tap into this reggae dancehall culture for our sounds.”

After a long hiatus, the global firepower, led by Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Ape Drums, is adding a plus one: America Foster.

The British-Jamaican lady boss is feeling blessed to be accepted into the group.

America Foster: “Them never believe in me, but you know who did? God did, God did. Whatcha know. Boom! Boom! And what does that say? Me a nice addition to the group. That tastes delicious. That does. What’s that? A bit of success.”

Their newest drop, “Gangsta,” is staying true to their reggae roots with big beats, and Walshy Fire knows it’s the song to blast from your speakers.

Walshy Fire: “The new one gangsta, gangsta, with Busy Signal, and it’s got that old-school dancehall energy.”

And working with ‘Busy Signal’ was all love.

Walshy Fire: “We’ve just continued the friendship and the work with somebody that we’re very comfortable with. It’s just an honor to continue to work with the people that you admire.”

New music isn’t the only thing they’re working on. They recently announced they’ll be joining Coachella’s’ 2026 lineup, which is pretty great.

But Walshy is more excited about being on Deco Drive.

Walshy Fire: “Yeah, man, good to see you again, man, and this is going to be my fourth time on Deco Drive. So, I’m glad to be here with you again, man, and shoutout to everyone out there, and my mom is right here smiling, happy to see me on Deco Drive, so I’m glad to be here.”

Lucky Fish in Dania Beach offers live music and beachside bites https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/lucky-fish-in-dania-beach-offers-live-music-and-beachside-bites/ Sat, 27 Sep 2025 00:12:33 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1621852 Live music is always on the menu at Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill. But it’s not just the live music that draws in the crowd, it’s the place to catch great ocean views, good vibes and a good mood. From bites, sips and music, Lucky Fish keeps the beach rocking every day.

Kenny Chesney (singing): “No shoes, no shirt, no problem.”

Just like Kenny Chesney says, forget your blues, because SoFlo is already paradise … and Lucky Fish is hooking people with the “no worries” mentality.

Shane Francis, general manager of Lucky Fish: “It’s definitely a tiki feel, that’s kind of what we want. We want you guys to feel comfortable, whether you’re in a bathing suit, walking a dog or anything like that, you can come in. ‘No shoes, no shirt, no problem’ kind of mentality here.”

Their laid back mantra is…

Shane Francis: “You’re lucky if you’re here and you’re definitely a lucky fish right by the ocean.”

This new beachfront spot in Dania Beach is a stone’s throw away from the sand.

Shane Francis: “You can go to the beach and come right up. Have a cocktail to go, grab a taco to go, grab whatever you want to go, actually.”

Swinging into the scene is their live music series.

Shane Francis: “From all genres — from a little bit of dance music, from salsa, from a little classic rock. It varies, you know.”

And of course, good foodie vibes are a must sea.

Chef Nery Leal, Lucky Fish Chef: “The menu is for everybody right. You have burgers, you got fried fish, fresh fish, grilled fish, blackened fish. We have an amazing happy hour menu now. We have dynamite shrimp, we have sliders.”

Jayda Henry: “I just love the atmosphere, the tiki vibes, the beachy kind of, I don’t know, everything is just amazing.”

The live music happens Monday through Sunday.

Saddle up and hold on for dear life at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale’s bull riding competition https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/saddle-up-and-hold-on-for-dear-life-at-the-wharf-fort-lauderdales-bull-riding-competition/ Fri, 26 Sep 2025 00:06:20 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1621344 The Wharf is ending the week screaming “yeehaw” with “Saddle Up Sundays.” Bull riders are going horn-to-horn to be the next rodeo champ. But we’re not in Spain, so it’s not a real bull, although it does look like a buckin’ good time!

Giddy-up! The Wharf Fort Lauderdale is bringing some country by the river.

Emi Guerra: “The bull got really popular and we decided to make a showdown for it, which is a competition, a bull riding competition. Two years ago, country music was on the rise. So we began a special promotion on Sundays called ‘Saddle Up Sundays’ and it’s been a hit.”

Party people are dusting off their boots and hitting the dance floor.

Emi Guerra: “We have line dancing, we have different country activations. We have ranch water pitchers on special. It’s really a vibe. But the main attraction, aside from the line dancing, which is fantastic, is the mechanical bull.”

Hanging on for dear life on this not-so-gentle creature is key.

Emi Guerra: “If you have a good grip and a little bit of courage, and you want to show off to your friends, and you know how to move. It’s a great way to show your balance off.”

Weekly winners are invited back for the big Sunday showdown.

Emi Guerra: “There are another couple of weeks of being able to come in on Sunday, enter it. It’s fun for kids during the day, and it’s great for adults at night.

Any tips to win?

Emi Guerra: “Obviously, hug the bull with your legs, if you can. Have a great center body, bend at the hips. If you can do all these things, you have a fighting chance. A thousand percent, eventually you’re falling off.”

Grip it and rip it for the grand prize.

Emi Guerra: “If you happen to win, you get $1,000. You get bragging rights. I think it definitely helps if you bring your friends, and there’s a nice crowd cheering for you. I think there are extra points for that for sure.”

Deering Estate Historic Ghost Tours bring chilling chapters of SoFlo history to life https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/deering-estate-historic-ghost-tours-bring-chilling-chapters-of-soflo-history-to-life/ Thu, 25 Sep 2025 00:08:04 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1620755 Looking for chills that don’t come from the AC? Head over to Deering Estate. Its historic ghost tour promises plenty of scary stories and maybe even a few guests who refuse to be ghosted. Deco’s high-spirited Alex Miranda is on the scene with more.

On the 1,000-year-old hallowed grounds of Deering Estate. I’m here in front of the Richmond House which was built in 1896. Plenty of time for people to die but now it has opened it’s beautiful but creepy doors to guided ghost tours.

Eric Vanderlaan: “Cross the rods for yes.”

Guest 1: “Mine just moved.”

Guest 2: “Mine keeps moving.”

Guest 3: “Mine is moving close. OK, there it is.”

Once the sun sets, the Deering Estate in Miami turns into a spooky spot for those who dare to conjure up the past.

Vera Farmiga (as Lorraine Warren): “There’s something in the attic.”

But unlike the horror movie “The Conjuring”…

Tori Scott, museum educator, Deering Estate: “All of the spirits here have been very pleasant. Yeah, this is their home. One of the guests actually encountered an experience with a spirit of a younger age, so she believed it was a little girl, and she actually felt her leg being compressed.”

…the paranormal activity on Charles Deering’s 460-acre estate started way before the 1900s.

Tori Scott: “The history doesn’t start with Charles or the Richmonds. It actually starts with our Indigenous groups that inhabited the land. There were just a lot of people that passed through here, and many believe that their spirits continue to linger and/or connected to the space or the land itself.”

Right when the darkness starts to creep in, the historic ghost tour heads out.

And guests are welcome to bring their own spirit detecting gadgets, or use Deering’s for some investigating.

Tori Scott: “It has colors on it, so if it goes to red, then you know there’s something around.”

Guest 1 (spirit detecting gadget): “At the head of the table. Are you sitting here?”

Eric Vanderlaan: “This will not do that at your house.”

Guest 1 (playing with the spirit detecting gadget): “What are you eating? Probably steak or like pasta or something.”

Eric: “I’ve been investigating this place for about 10 years and got some stuff I can’t explain, so there’s definitely something going on here.”

After the boat basin and the first floor, it’s time to go up.

Tori Scott: “And then, on the second floor, we have our paranormal investigator, does the investigations, a group investigation with them.”

Eric Vanderlaan: “My name is Eric. I’m with War Party Paranormal Research team. We use equipment to see if we can get any intelligence activity, like a data logger like this. It’ll sense [electromagnetic fields], motion, but this is the cool feature I like. I just turn on it, and that’s what I got. Oh dominate.”

Group of guests: “Dominate?”

Frank Barbato: “We were in a room with maybe 15 people, and when they played the recording back, we clearly hear somebody say, ‘Get out.’ We were in his office…”

Anita Barbato: “They asked, ‘Do you want us in your office?’ It said, ‘No.'”

Frank Barbato: “It’s kind of fun to get yourself in the mood, for Halloween and, you know, spookiness, and it’s a fun event. It’s harmless, too.

Anita Barbato: “There’s so much history here at Deering, too.”

Well, intelligence is sometimes hard to find even with these gadgets.

You can take part in these super interesting and creepy tours every Wednesday through Oct. 23 for $45.

With the biggest stars getting engaged, this SoFlo designer displays her breathtaking wedding dresses https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/with-the-biggest-stars-getting-engaged-this-soflo-designer-displays-her-breathtaking-wedding-dresses/ Thu, 18 Sep 2025 00:02:34 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1618412 First came the proposals. Now all eyes are on the gowns.

Some of the biggest stars are saying “yes” to the ring, which means bridal fashion is hitting center stage. A local designer is sharing her expertise on what’s hot down the aisle, and it’s enough to steal the show.

From Taylor Swift to Selena Gomez, some of the hottest celebs are flashing their rings and getting ready to walk down the aisle.

Designer Erica Appleby is ready to make heads turn inside Luxe Bridal Boutique in Hollywood.

Erica Appleby: “A lot of the things I make are along the same lines as some of the things that are happening in the trends, except they’re never trends for me, they’re staples, right? So I always want to make sure that my women are art pieces.”

Of course, looking snatch is always in fashion.

Erica Appleby: “Corsets are coming back, so vintage, Victorian corsets are actually a trend now. This one is kind of fun, where it has this long cathedral style train, but in the front, the dress is actually very short. It’s made to be kind of a two-part dress.”

And shining bright like a diamond with beading is a must.

Erica Appleby: “Beadwork from different cultures, like India or my background is Caribbean and Jamaican, so I pull all these different things. Even African beadwork is something that I absolutely love.”

Whether you’re going for fairy-tale drama to traditional chic, these looks are taking weddings from something borrowed to something bold.

Erica Appleby: “Yeah, white is always going to be in. I think that is just something that’s a staple across the board in the wedding industry. But I think women are starting to cultivate their own experiences. So not just white, but off-white, creams, even some blush colors I’ve seen. I want to make sure that every single dress is not just something you can get off any rack but something that’s made specifically for your body type.”

Miami’s Gil Green reveals what it was like helping make Bon Jovi’s newest album https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/miamis-gil-green-reveals-what-it-was-like-helping-make-bon-jovis-newest-album/ Wed, 17 Sep 2025 02:02:23 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1617974 Bon Jovi’s back with a new anthem and living with some Jersey pride; however, behind the lens of Bon Jovi’s new video is Miami’s Gil Green. Our very own Alex Miranda, who loves to ride on steel horses, has more. Alex?

The filmmaker spilled some tea on what it’s like working with the iconic band again. This time, he got to relive Bon Jovi’s teenage years, and you’re gonna wanna ride it all night long.

Bon Jovi (singing): “Feels like home to me. We’ll always be Red, White and Jersey.”

Bon Jovi’s giving fans a new drop with jersey on their mind.

Gil Green, director: “It’s in his heart, man. Bon Jovi is just the same way Miami’s in my heart, like he loves that city. He gives back to that city.”

Bon Jovi (singing): “Yeah, we held on tight, looking up all night.”

“Red, White and Jersey” is the first track on the band’s “Forever Legendary Edition” album, out October 24th. Local guy with an eye, Gil Green, made the words come to life.

Gil Green: “He sent me the music, I vibed out for a little bit. He gave me a little direction, like he definitely wanted this to be about his town, hence the title. He trusts me, I trust him, we put it down, we make history.”

Capturing the coming-of-age vibe was key for Gil.

Gil Green: “Just like a feel-good, teenagers having fun. Exploring life. Exploring Jersey through love. Imagine playing hooky with your best friend in high school. What was crazy was that we had these 18-year-old kids that were the biggest Bon Jovi fans. You would have never even imagined, and they were so hyped to be in this video.”

But shooting the whole band in the studio together was legendary.

Gil Green: “They treated us because he’s just putting his show together, so they treated us like a private show. Gave us a one-hour concert with just friends and family. Some people had the little earplugs in. But it’s rock, you can’t listen to it with earplugs, you just gotta you know lose a few frequencies in your rear drums and just accept it.”

From rock to hip hop, it’s on to the next project for the master maker.

Gil Green: “Just a few days ago, we shot the hip-hop artist Gunna for the MTV Awards. There are a few things in the can with Mr. 305. We shot a film that I can’t talk a little bit too much about. Mr. Green drops his sauce in all of it.”

And his creative sauce was recently recognized…

Gil Green: “Big shout out to Coral Gables High for being inducted into the Hall of Fame. That was exciting for me, local boy.”

You can listen to “Red, White and Jersey” on all music streaming platforms after Deco Drive.

Prepare your sweet tooth for hundreds of cakes during the first ever South Florida Cake Swap in Vizcaya https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/prepare-your-sweet-tooth-for-hundreds-of-cakes-during-the-first-ever-south-florida-cake-swap-in-vizcaya/ Sat, 13 Sep 2025 00:04:54 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1616468 Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is hitting the sweet spot with a cake event for the ages. This weekend, Vizcaya is hosting the first ever South Florida Cake Swap, and it’s baking up some serious buzz. From frosting to history, it’s an event serving up layers of fun. All right, enough of the puns! Can we eat some cake please?

Angela Lansbury (as Aunt Adelaide): “Evangeline, where are your manners?”

Kelly Macdonald (as Evangeline): “Insult my manners, you old trout. This is the first fun I’ve had in weeks.”

Nanny McPhee might approve of cake fights … but there’s no fighting the idea of sharing slices with other cake lovers.

Suanay Hernandez: “We were inspired by the cake picnic in New York City. It was very cool for us to see a park filled with hundreds and hundreds of cake. And we’re like, ‘Can we do this in Miami? Can we do this in Vizcaya?'”

The answer is yes!

At Vizcaya Village’s Farmers Market, they’re mixing the past and sugar into every bite.

Sheila Gutierrez: “The market is open to anyone, all of our communities; we have different activities that happen at the farmers market. This Sunday, we’re gonna be doing a cake swap in partnership with the Read It & Eat It Book Club. And really, it’s gonna be a sweet gathering to build community.”

Forget BYOB, it’s BYOC, “bring your own cake,” at the first ever South Florida Cake Swap.

Suanay Hernandez: “You’ll come in, and your cake is your ticket into the event. So you bring your cake, and you join all the other cakes that are also going to be there, and then you can get as many cake slices as you want, so you can try different cakes there.”

And whatever you do…

Suanay Hernandez: “Do not bring an ice cream cake; it will be outside.”

Rosie Castaldo: “Don’t be intimidated by the fact that there might be cakes that are professional, because everyone is welcome, and all cakes are welcomed. We are going to have recipe cards in front of each cake to let you know what allergens are in the cakes and what the cakes have.”

Making friends is the goal.

Rosie Castaldo: “At the root of Read It & Eat It, it’s all about community, and it’s a nice way to meet your neighbors.”

Suanay Hernandez: “I imagine people having, like, an array of like 10, 20 different slices, and then finding a cute spot in Vizcaya to, like, lay with a blanket, picnic and, like, try different slices.”

The cake potluck is Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Remember, your cake is your ticket in.

Marlon Wayans delivers the crazy needed to be a GOAT in football-themed horror film ‘Him’ https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/marlon-wayans-delivers-the-crazy-needed-to-be-a-goat-in-football-themed-horror-film-him/ Thu, 11 Sep 2025 00:51:43 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1615420 Get ready to tackle your nerves. A new horror flick is creeping into theaters with a focus on football, and once you see “Him,” you won’t forget him. Deco sat down with stars Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers for some tea on what it takes to be the GOAT.

Forget “Friday Night Lights.” Welcome Friday night frights!

In the thriller “Him,” getting lost in Marlon Wayans’ crazy is easy.

Marlon Wayans: “We all did. I got lost in my crazy.”

Marlon is Isaiah White, an aging quarterback who trains a young football stud played by Tyriq. Let’s just say his dark side goes overtime.

Marlon Wayans: “Justin Tipping had a vision, and he just let me, allowed me to be free, untethered and able to explore every bit of darkness and every bit of light and every bit of crazy that Marlon had to offer Isaiah, and kudos to my wonderful co-star, who had to take and deal with all the crazy that I was doing.”

Tyriq Withers: “Extra on the untethered.”

Together they explore what it takes to be the greatest of all time, aka the GOAT.

Tyriq Withers: “I think the way you treat people on set or off the field, I think that’s very important, so I think that river of love, leading with love, is a very big part of being a GOAT.”

Marlon Wayans: “That’s very sweet, I think the GOATs are killers. The ones that go, ‘Hey, it’s only about I because I make the team. I’m willing to sacrifice.'”

Tyriq Withers: “We said the same thing.”

Marlon Wayans: “But different, you talking about family, love.”

Tyriq Withers: “Well, I think about Kobe.”

Marlon Wayans: “I was thinking about choking people out.”

Tyriq Withers: “LeBron.”

Marlon Wayans: “Choking people out.”

Tyriq Withers: “I mean, cool.”

Marlon Wayans: “Do what you got to do. Get people drunk before the game, and then play them when they drunk and you sweatin’. And they just dizzy.”

Tyriq Withers: “That happened?”

Marlon Wayans: “Michael Jordan did that all the time.”

Any early Super Bowl picks?

Marlon Wayans: “Here’s the thing: I’m not going to pick the Dolphins. Here’s why. I’ve been to Miami, I love Miami, there’s too much partying in Miami. It’s not possible to win a Super Bowl when you got that many parties going on. You got Komodo, you got LIV. Bro, you got Papi Steak. Ain’t nobody winning.”

Tyriq Withers: “Papi Steak.”

Marlon Wayans: “Yeah, they party with steak.”

The iconic and grungy Churchill’s Pub is back in business with the same gritty vibes https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/the-iconic-and-grungy-churchills-pub-is-back-in-business-with-the-same-gritty-vibes/ Wed, 10 Sep 2025 01:36:32 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1614784 Miami’s iconic Churchill’s Pub is back … and this time, the toilets flush!

Don’t worry. They cleaned up the place, but they didn’t wash away the attitude. The live bands are still underground, and the vibes are still loud. Rock on!

Churchill’s Pub is known for always being loud and proud.

David Siqueiros: “Churchill’s is an institution. It was opened in 1979, and it instantly became a gift to the music community. It’s a place where everybody believed that the music should be raw and unfiltered and loud. If you are familiar with what Churchill’s was in the past, welcome back. If this is the first time you’re stepping into Churchill’s, you better buckle up.”

Buckle up, because this one-of-a-kind Miami dive bar is reopening its doors with a plumbing upgrade.

David Siqueiros: “We’ve had five years to sort of reflect what Churchill’s means to the community. We didn’t change a lot. We’ve kept Churchill’s true to what it was and what it’s always been. We’ve also cleaned up the bathrooms a little bit, not much, but at least the toilets flush. We’re also elevating the cocktails. We’re also going to be serving food.”

This place sticks in the core memory of bands who played here.

Liz: “Churchill’s is cool. I know Marilyn Manson played here.”

Rock band Bruvvy got their start here.

Liz: “It went so well that, you know, we were just like, ‘Why not?’ And now we live in Los Angeles. You see, all of Churchill’s Pub’s doing.”

For Miss Michigan, they’re ready to bring the realness.

Gus: “We got some cool bands, but I’m ready to [expletive] kick ass. And, like, you know take names.”

For newcomer Tess Grey, the hype is real.

Tess Grey: “It’s really cool. I’ve never even been here before, so being able to actually feel the aura, it’s like, ‘Oh, OK, like I could do this.'”

And same for Adhesive.

Sydney Henry: “We have punk, we have a little bit of country, we have a little bit of lo-fi. We don’t really lock it down.”

Anyone can submit to make noise on stage by filling out a submission form.

Relive the ’80s during Miami Vice Week with star Olivia Brown and designer David Woods https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/relive-the-80s-during-miami-vice-week-with-star-olivia-brown-and-designer-david-woods/ Tue, 09 Sep 2025 23:57:01 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1614795 Roll up those neon sleeves and crank up the ’80s fashion with ‘Miami Vice Week’. Think fast cars and fashion hotter than the South Florida sun, actress & fashionista, Olivia Brown and designer David Woods told Deco what makes this iconic show spotlight worthy.

Back in the day, being fashionable was right up there with solving crimes on “Miami Vice.”

Olivia Brown, actress: “I think the most memorable was when I walked in and they decided to paint half my face with white, yellow, and blue, and I said ‘What am I?’ and they put a white wig on me, and it became the most iconic look that people remember.

You can re-live all things Vice during Miami Vice Week.

Derek Hedlund, executive producer Miami Vice annual reunion: “The original cast and crew members are going to be doing a live commentary, never been done before, talking about, ‘Oh, I remember that,’ Olivia Brown’s gonna go, ‘I remember that.'”

Olivia Brown: “I’m gonna give you what it’s like to work on a very masculine, macho-driven show and be one of the only females, running around with a gun and high heels.”

Speaking of heels, on Saturday, 80s fashion and cars will be front and center at the event.

Derek Hedlund: “We’re closing Ocean Drive, first time ever for a fashion and car show, not normally happening. So Ocean Drive is going to become the runway.”

You’re gonna need models to strut down the runway. Right?

Derek Hedlund: “We’re casting models for that. We’re looking for guys, girls that just, they just ooze the 80’s.”

Male model: “I just got out of the time machine. I heard there was a way to keep the ’80s alive. Are you the man I’m looking for?”

Derek Hedlund: “I’m the man you’re looking for.”

Model 2: “I know that I’m the perfect model. I feel like I want to give sexy, sassy attitude as well with a hint of like smiles.”

Local fashion designer, David Woods, is all about the ’80s vibes.

David Woods, designer for Tony Visions: “I’m doing a collection specifically for Miami Vice that’s called Vice City. So we’re trying to bring back a lot of those colors, pastels, the ’80s look.”

And his fave…

David Woods: “I add a little bedazzlement, things, spikes, chains. The little things that keep it a little bit modern culture but also sleeking it up. A lot more slim fitting.”

Well, this case is clothes…Get it?

These SoFlo spots are writing the perfect ‘Love Story’ for Swifties to just say yes https://wsvn.com/entertainment/deco-drive/these-soflo-spots-are-writing-the-perfect-love-story-for-swifties-to-just-say-yes/ Tue, 09 Sep 2025 01:45:09 +0000 https://wsvn.com/?p=1613204 Taylor Swift said “yes” to her soon-to-be hubby, Travis Kelce, and now she’s in her engagement era. Places all over SoFlo are inspired by their love story, and they’re offering packages straight out of a rom-com. From the ultimate proposal to a bridal brunch, it’s a Swiftie wedding takeover.

Taylor Swift once famously sang “Love Story” … and now, Pinecrest Gardens is doing its part to make saying “yes” easy.

The botanical garden has just announced its new “Love Story” proposal package, fully inspired by Taylor and Travis’ recent engagement news.

Elis Webb: “When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged last week, it reminded us how timeless and romantic botanical garden proposals can be.”

The scenic park is pulling out all the stops to make your engagement era is just like Taylor’s.

Elis Webb: “The ‘Love Story’ package is the perfect all-inclusive package. It comes with a photographer to capture the special moment, some beautiful fresh roses and custom signs.”

You can choose anywhere in the 14-acre park to be your backdrop, and leave everything else to the staff.

Elis Webb: “We’ll prepare everything for you, so whoever is proposing doesn’t have to worry about anything at all. And when you both get here, everything will be ready for your special moment.”

And when you say “yes,” sip on a glass of champagne to celebrate.

Oceanic Pompano Beach is all about love.

Amanda Mohammed Currie: “One of the most beautiful places you can have a wedding. But how great would it be if Taylor and Travis were to have their wedding in Pompano Beach, right there overlooking the Pompano Pier? By the way, that’s totally an invitation. Let us know, we will definitely host you.”

Before the wedding bells, this oceanfront spot is having a bridal shower brunch with all things Taylor.

Amanda Mohammed Currie: “It’s $87 per person, and that’s gonna include bottomless mimosas, that includes the welcome mocktail, a choice of entrée, plus all the passed appetizers, and then all the activities that we’re gonna do.”

Like bracelet-making.

Amanda Mohammed Currie: “We’re gonna be making friendship bracelets, of course. We’re going to have Taylor Swift trivia.”

Oh, yeah. Let’s mellow out all the competitiveness with some food and music.

Amanda Mohammed Currie: “Also, we’ll include live music. We do have a live saxophone player that will be playing along to the music of Taylor Swift. I hope things get crazy. I hope we make a lasting impression that, you know, will make us want to host more events like this, because that’s really the endgame. The ‘End Game,’ you see what I did there?”
